HCPC joins healthcare regulators to publish latest whistleblowing report

The HCPC, in collaboration with seven other professional healthcare regulators, has published an annual report on whistleblowing disclosures.

Our requirements of programmes meeting the revised standards of education and training

Last summer, we asked all pre-registration programmes to plan how they would meet the revised standards of education and training (SETs). From the 2018–19 academic year, we will assess whether your programme has met these standards via our annual monitoring process.

Updated standards of proficiency: now in effect

It is now every registrant’s responsibility to meet the updated standards, as far as they relate to their scope of practice.

Consultation on updates to our sanctions policy opens

We’re reviewing our sanctions policy to improve consistency and further strengthen decision-making by independent fitness to practise (FTP) panels. The consultation is running from 29 May 2025 to 1 September 2025.
