Renewing online

Your online account allows you to renew your registration and pay your registration fee securely. There are four steps to renewing your registration online.

  1. Activate your account and log in
  2. Review dates and details
  3. Complete professional declaration
  4. Pay renewal fee

Before you can use the system, you will need to activate your account. This is a one off process for those who have not yet used the new system launched in October 2020.

You only need to activate your account once and when this has been done you will then be able to access the system via the main URL link.

The system is secure and uses a two-factor authentication linked to a phone number (mobile or landline) to log in.

Following receipt of the email or letter notifying you that it is time for you to renew, log in to the system to start the process.

When you have logged into your account, a message will be displayed on your home page telling you when your registration is due to expire and if you need to renew your registration.

It is essential that your personal details, including contact details and payment information, are kept up to date. If we have incorrect details, your renewal may not be successful processed and your name may be removed from the Register. 

You must make a professional declaration once every two years in order to stay registered. 

Instructions will appear in your account as to how to complete your declaration.

If you're paying by direct debit, make sure your payment details are correct so that the money can be removed from your account. If you pay by an alternative method, ensure that you make the payment in the appropriate way, so that it clears by the time the renewal window closes. 

If the fee has not fully transferred by the time the window closes, your registration will not be considered renewed.
