What happens at this stage of the process?

Once we have all necessary details regarding your qualification, profession and modality, we'll contact your education provider, any relevant regulatory or professional bodies and any professional referees to verify the information that you've provided.

We will contact your referees and ask them to verify the information you have given in your application. If we do not receive a response or are unable to verify your information fully, we will email you to let you know and request alternative contact details to complete our verification check.

How long does this part of the process take?

Completion of the verification checks relies upon your verification contacts responding successfully to our requests. We'll check if responses to our requests have been received once your application has successfully completed our assessment process and your application has been accepted for registration. 

If you have successfully completed our assessment process, it will at this point take us a further 3 months to complete any outstanding verification checks.

These checks must be completed before you're invited to pay your registration fee, so this will prolong your ability to register with us.

What happens next?

You don't need to do anything until we notify you of the outcome of your verification checks.

We'll check if your verification contacts have responded to our original requests and chase any that remain outstanding.

Once your verification checks are compelte and you've been accepted for entry to the Register, we'll confirm this by email and send you a WorldPay link to pay your registration fee.
