What to reflect on to get the most out of our performance review process, and how to do so

We are hosting six new #myHCPCstandards webinars designed to support registrants with the revisions to the standards of conduct, performance and ethics and accompanying social media guidance.

Today the revised HCPC standards of conduct, performance and ethics, and guidance on social media which sits alongside the standards, come into effect. It is now every registrant’s responsibility to be familiar with the changes and meet the revised standards.

We recognise there have been calls from across the education and health sectors to reduce unnecessary regulatory burden and overlap.

We emailed education providers due their performance review in 2022-23 and 2023-24 in early August. Providers who will undergo the process this year (2022-23) will have been given specific requirements and a key contact to work with at the HCPC. 

The HCPC consultation on the Standards of conduct, performance and ethics, and accompanying guidance on social media closed on 16 June 2023.
