HCPC this week submitted evidence to the Public Accounts Committee’s inquiry: Covid-19: Government procurement, and contracts for PPE.

Since January 2025 the partner team received 870 applications and recruited 117 new partners across the three regulatory functions - Education, Registration and Fitness to practise. A very warm welcome to all our new partners!

The Professional Standards Authority (PSA) has today published its annual performance review of the HCPC. The HCPC has met 16 of the 18 Standards of Good Regulation, regaining two fitness to practise (FTP) standards and one standard linked to registration.

We emailed education providers due their performance review in 2022-23 and 2023-24 in early August. Providers who will undergo the process this year (2022-23) will have been given specific requirements and a key contact to work with at the HCPC. 

Monday 3 March marks the start of the HCPC's first ever CPD Week. We will be showcasing resources, sharing good practice and publishing materials designed to support registrants with their CPD.

This is a significant moment and we will be carefully considering the detail in the Plan and the commitments made.
