The report outlines the disclosures received by each organisation between 1 April 2025 and 31 March 2026, and the actions taken in response. Its aim is to be transparent about how we handle disclosures, highlight how issues have been addressed and what learnings have been taken, and improve collaboration across the health and care sector.
Seven whistleblowing disclosures were made to the HCPC during the financial year 2025/26. Two disclosures were received by our Policy and Standards department, two by our Education department, and three by our Fitness to Practise department.
We regularly review disclosures and our internal processes to identify opportunities to improve our publicly available information, including guidance and support for those raising concerns. Since last year's report, we have continued to strengthen how whistleblowing disclosures are handled across the organisation.
This includes updating internal processes, improving recording and reporting systems within our Fitness to Practise department, and reviewing guidance for staff and members of the public.
