In 2018, we raised the level of qualification for paramedics’ registration. Previously paramedics needed to achieve ‘Equivalent to Certificate of Higher Education’ to become registered. Currently they need to achieve ’Bachelor degree with honours’.

This is a unique opportunity to be mentored by senior Council members and to engage in discussions and decisions on important public interest matters, and I look forward to welcoming our new Council Apprentices.

During each renewal we randomly select 2.5 per cent of each profession and ask them to submit their CPD profile.
