  • The HCPC is a Disability Confident Employer, and this extends to partner recruitment. It is a government scheme designed to encourage the recruitment and retention of individuals with a disability or health condition. More information on this can be found on our website. If you would like further information or require reasonable adjustments for the purposes of your application, please contact the Partner Team

  • On our Recruitment page you will find our guidance for applicants to help you to complete your application. When you locate the vacancy on the Recruitment Portal there will be an Information for Applicants document attached which we recommend you read carefully.

  • The Information for Applicants is a document that provides you with detailed information of the role and the criteria. It can be located on our Recruitment Portal and is attached to the vacancy under ‘Job spec more’. We recommend downloading and reading the document carefully before you apply for the role.

  • We do not accept CVs or covering letters unless stated otherwise in the vacancy. Please submit an application via our Recruitment Portal to be considered for the partner role. If you are a current Partner please apply through the Partner Portal.

  • The induction training is mandatory. Please note that it is a requirement of our conditional offer of appointment that all new partners complete the induction training before they can commence their new partner role.

Should you be unable to attend the induction date as advertised in the Information for Applicants document, you will have to wait for the next one before you can commence your partner role. This must be completed within 12 months of our offer being made, and we can’t guarantee that another induction training will be held within this timeframe.

We reserve the right to withdraw our offer should you be unable to complete your induction training within the 12 months’ timeframe.

  • Our reference policy for partner candidates can be accessed here. The policy details our requirements for referees to ensure that we can obtain satisfactory references in support of your application.

  • If shortlisted, you will be invited to an interview and/or assessment. This usually includes a face-to-face interview which is currently conducted virtually. An assessment (e.g., a written exercise or test) may also be included as part of the selection process.

  • If you require reasonable adjustments for the purposes of your interview, or at any other point of the recruitment process, please contact partners@hcpc-uk.org to discuss your options. Please give us at least one week notice to ensure we can consider and support your request.

  • We will let you know the outcome of your application by email. This will be the case regardless of whether you were successful or not.

  • We hold an Expression of Interest list which contains the name, email address and profession of individuals who are interested in partner roles. When we advertise for partners in your profession, we will get in touch with you to let you know that we are recruiting.

If you would like to join our list, please email the Partner Team. Please include your name, the email address you wish to be contacted at and your profession in your email so that we can ensure that we send you information that is relevant to you.
