The HCPC EDI Forum
This Forum is a key mechanism of engagement and accountability for the HCPC in delivery of its EDI objectives. It was established in 2020 (and regularly refreshed/continually growing in membership) has approximately 130+ members - individual registrants and key stakeholder organisations, including the professional bodies - which met first on 14 September 2020 and quarterly since. EDI Steering Group
This Group comprises senior representatives (heads of functional Teams) from each area of HCPC (including, HR/L&D, communications, policy and standards, upstream regulation/prevention, governance, fitness to practise, education, registration, IT/projects). The EDI Steering Group is responsible for setting the direction of travel for the organisation, in terms of what we would like to achieve in EDI in everything that we do as a regulator and employer, and for ensuring that it is effectively implemented within and across the organisation. The EDI Steering Group meets at least monthly and often more regularly.
Executive EDI Lead - Jacqueline Ladds, Executive Director for Policy and External Affairs is the organisational lead for our EDI work and is the Chair of the EDI Steering Group.
Council EDI Lead - Eileen Mullan, Lay Council Member is the appointed Council Lead for providing oversight, scrutiny and advice to the Executive in the delivery of its EDI responsibilities.
