Equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) is an important area to the HCPC, to ensure learners are properly supported and prepared for practice. We have identified good practice and challenges with education provider approaches to embedding EDI into their programmes.

The standards against which we assess education and training programmes

A 45-minute webinar as part of CPD Week 2026. This learning session explores equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) in relation to the standards. We'll look at why EDI matters, how it can be applied to different roles and how you could develop your knowledge and skills to embed the principles in your own practice.

The HCPC and General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) have collaborated to produce a Shared Update for registrants working at or towards advanced levels of practice in a range of sectors and settings.
