Someone who has successfully completed an approved programme is eligible to apply to our Register. The links on this page provide useful information and support for education providers delivering approved programmes.
Education provider resources
We have introduced a standard of education and training (SET) which requires service users and carer involvement in education and training programmes.
Information about submitting pass lists, which are used by our Registration Department in our UK approved programme application process.
The post-registration programmes which we approve relate to Approved mental health professionals (AMHP), Local anaesthetics (LA), Independent prescribing (IP), Supplementary prescribing (SP) and Prescription only medicine (POM).
We hold seminars for education providers. Resources are made available after the seminars have been completed.
These guidance documents and resources have been developed to inform and assist education providers in the delivery of approved programmes. The information is available to all our stakeholders to enable safe and effective practice in the professions that we regulate.
