The standards of education and training (SETs) are designed to make sure that learners are prepared for safe and effective practice.
We review our standards periodically to ensure that they are up-to date with current practice.
Aims of the review
Through the review we will:
- identify changes to current practice and, if appropriate, reflect these in the SETs;
- identify ways to strengthen the SETs that enable education providers to prepare learners for professional practice effectively;
- ensure the SETs are appropriately aligned with other HCPC standards; and
- ensure that education providers can implement any changes effectively.
