Welcome to the eleventh fitness to practise annual report of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) covering the period 1 April 2013 to 31 March 2014. This report provides information about the HCPC’s work in considering allegations about the fitness to practise of HCPC registrants. In the last twelve months, there has been a further increase in the number of fitness to practise complaints compared to previous years. 2,069 new concerns were raised, an increase of 25 per cent on the previous year.
