On 1st November 2015 we had 51,021 physiotherapists registered with the HCP out of these 39,732 are female, 11,285 are male and 4 unknown. As I explained before we cannot break the number down into NHS or private sector workers. Also we do not break down and record the modernity for Physiotherapists.
Unfortunately, we do not keep a record of any publications that may keep statistics on the number of Physiotherapists working for the NHS or private sector.
