Today, we’ve launched a survey to inform our next corporate strategy.
The survey forms the first part of our engagement to capture a wide range of views about our work, and also wider sector challenges and opportunities people foresee in the years ahead. The findings from the survey will help us to develop our future priorities from 2026.
We’re keen to co-produce our strategy, so that our future direction and priorities are shaped by the registrants that make up our health and care professions, as well as their employers, professional bodies, and trade unions. We also want to hear directly from members of the public and those who use, and depend on, the services our registrants provide.
The healthcare sector has changed a great deal since we launched our first strategy in 2021 and it is likely to continue to evolve over the coming years, as we’ve seen in the recently published NHS 10 year plan.
We want to understand how these changes are likely to affect our work. We’re interested in hearing about future challenges and opportunities, and how these will impact health and care professionals, or the way people will access care.
In August we will be analysing the results of this survey and will use the ideas, issues, and challenges you share to help inform the next stage of engagement which will include focus groups, workshops, and public events. More details will follow shortly.
We’re committed to achieving excellence in every area of our work. Your views will help us to identify the specific areas that we need to focus on in the coming years, to build on the progress we have made, so that we can continue to support health and care professionals across the UK to deliver safe, high-quality care.
