HCPC welcomes the regulation of Physician Associates

Today the Government have announced that Physician Associates will be regulated by the General Medical Council.
Marc Seale, Chief Executive and Registrar, said,
“We offer our congratulations to Physician Associates on their successful campaign to achieve statutory regulation of their profession. This is good news for patient safety and for the reputation of the profession.”
