We are consulting on changes to our standards for prescribing until Friday 4 January 2019 and we are keen to hear your views
Changes we are proposing include the following.
- Aligning the standards with our revised standards of education and training.
- Broadening the range of supervisors, from designated medical practitioners, to include suitably qualified and experienced independent and supplementary prescribers.
- Adopting the Royal Pharmaceutical Society’s prescribing framework, which sets out the knowledge and skills all prescribers must have to practice safely and effectively
