Rebekah is registered as a practitioner psychologist. She is a Clinical Psychologist specialising in child protection and psychological impacts of trauma. Rebekah has nearly 20 years experience in mental health settings and public protection, working across a range of service contexts.
Rebekah is currently the Chief Psychologist to the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse and Head of the Inquiry’s Support and Safeguarding Teams. She provides strategic and operational leadership to a multidisciplinary team of health and social care professionals and civil servants. Rebekah has a particular interest in creating trauma-informed workplace cultures that nurture staff health and wellbeing.
