Accessing the Register
Anyone can use our Register to check whether their health professional is registered with us. This page tells you how.
Online Our online register is a fast, efficient, reliable and free way of checking the registration of a health professional. It is updated in 'real time', which means that as we make changes to registrants' information, these changes appear on the online register immediately. Click here to check the online register.
Over the phone If you do not have access to the internet, you can call our Registration Department on 44 (0)845 300 4472, and a member of staff can check the register for you.
At our offices Alternatively, in accordance with article 8 of the Health Professions Order, any one who would like to inspect the Register can come to the Health and Care Professions Council’s offices in London. For information about how to find the offices, click here.
The Register is available between 9.30am and 4.30pm, Monday to Friday (unless the office is closed for bank holidays, or over the Christmas period).
Anyone who would like to inspect the Register should come to Park House and report to reception. The Register is stored electronically, and is not held in hard copy. You will be given access to a computer in order to inspect the Register – or if you are unable to use a computer or would prefer not to, a member of staff will check it for you.
