Launch of consultation on English language proficiency
We have launched a consultation on our English language proficiency requirements which will run from Monday 16 October 2023 to Friday 19 January 2024.
Visitors will need to provide pre-visit feedback
Under our revised approval process, visitors will be required to provide feedback in a structured way, noting broad areas of concern, within two weeks of receiving the documentary submission
HCPC fee rise approved by Parliaments
Following our consultation with registrants, professional bodies, trade unions, and the public last year, the legislation to implement our latest proposed fee increase has now been approved in both the UK and Scottish Parliaments.

Last summer, we asked all pre-registration programmes to plan how they would meet the revised standards of education and training (SETs). From the 2018–19 academic year, we will assess whether your programme has met these standards via our annual monitoring process.
