Service user and carer involvement is an important area to the HCPC, to ensure learners are properly prepared for practice. We have identified good practice and challenges with education provider approaches to service user and carer involvement.

In this webinar we will explore how our standards and guidance require registrants to identify, acknowledge and respond appropriately to concerns about the safety and wellbeing of service users.

Equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) is an important area to the HCPC, to ensure learners are properly supported and prepared for practice. We have identified good practice and challenges with education provider approaches to embedding EDI into their programmes.

We’re currently reviewing the standards of education and training to make sure they're up-to-date with current practice. We invite all students and learners on HCPC-approved programmes to an online workshop to share their thoughts.
