How to send and receive files using Box

Box is a file-sharing platform that allows us to send and receive files securely

In some fitness to practise cases, we might need to share files with you or ask that you share them with us. Box is a platform that lets us do this securely.

If you need to use Box, we'll let you know via email. We'll send you a link you can use to download or upload the files.

You'll have 30 days to complete the download or upload after the link is generated. After that, it will expire.

How to download a file we send to you

  • Click the link we've provided in our email. You'll be taken to Box, our file-sharing platform.
  • You should be able to see a preview of the file on your screen. The preview will be viewable until the link expires (30 days).
  • Click the Download button at the top right of your screen. 
  • Save the file to your device. Choose a secure location that you'll be able to access after the link has expired. 

Please be aware that these documents may contain highly sensitive information. They should not be shared with anyone except representatives who are assisting you with the fitness to practise matter.

 

How to send a file to us

  • Click the link we've provided in our email. You'll be taken to Box, our file-sharing platform. 
  • Click Select files and find your files, or drag and drop them onto the page. This will upload the files. If you need to add more, click Add another file
  • Once you've uploaded the files, you'll see them listed on the page.
  • Click Submit to send them to us.

 

Troubleshooting

If you need to access a link that has expired, or you encounter any issues with this process, please speak to your case manager or contact the Fitness to Practise team.
