Finance and savings

  • HCPC salaries are benchmarked annually to ensure we are paying our employees an attractive market rate salary.

  • All employees will be auto-enrolled into the HCPC pension scheme from the moment they commence employment.

  • Death in service paid at 9 times employee salary.

  • An employee discount scheme, giving access to an array of savings.

  • On passing probation employees can apply for a season ticket loan.

Work life balance

  • Employees have the option to work flexibly e.g. part time, compressed, or with some remote working.

  • Annual leave is not related to service – all employees are entitled to 30 days annual leave (for part time workers, this figure is pro rata).

  • Standard hours are Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm.  The HCPC recognises, however, the need for flexibility and promotes a flexible working environment.

Family friendly

  • We offer generous enhanced paid leave for Maternity, Adoption, Shared Parental Leave (subject to eligibility).

Social

  • Opportunities to join a variety of social groups – CSR, Choir, Sports clubs and more.

  • Employees have access to free water and hot beverage stations situated all around the office building.

  • The HCPC offices are situated close to Kennington Park and the Oval Cricket Ground.  We have recently renovated our office spaces, which now include a café and lunch hall for employees, meeting rooms and a dedicated training space.

  • Every year, employees are given the opportunity to nominate a fellow colleague who has displayed exceptional performance.  Winners are rewarded with a cash sum.

Learning and Development

  • The HCPC will sponsor employees up to £1000 for a course of study, which will be deemed relevant/beneficial to the organisation.

  • The HCPC will reimburse the cost of fees for relevant professional membership which an employee might hold e.g. CIPD, ACCA.

  • Employees have access to an E-Learning platform with a library of hundreds of online training courses.

  • These policies aim to allow employees the opportunity to expand their knowledge and personal development by either applying for a Sabbatical (unpaid) or through a Secondment arrangement (internal and external opportunities).
