Today we've opened the appointment process for our next Council Apprentices.
There are two places available for a 15 months long role starting in January 2026. All current HCPC registrants can apply.
The Council Apprenticeship scheme was first introduced in 2020 with the aim of giving talented individuals on our Register the experience and skills to confidently take part in future governance roles.
Council Apprentices take part in all HCPC Council meetings and associated activity. They also get involved in our committees to maximise their transferable experience of governance.
This is a non-executive role and our apprentices see all board papers that support decisions and are encouraged to participate in the meeting discussions.
We provide a comprehensive induction and mentoring support throughout the apprenticeship.
Applications for this year’s Council Apprenticeship scheme will close at 9am on Monday 17 November 2025.
