This dashboard provides data on the percentage of individuals who have registered with the HCPC following completion of their programme in 2024

- These charts presents the conversion rates of those who completed approved programmes to professional registration, and can be used by stakeholders to understand conversation rates at an education provider, professional, and national / regional level.
- Registration rates represent the percentage of those who completed programmes who then registered with the HCPC.
- The data valid at the beginning of February 2026.

The dashboard data is automatically updated when you select options from the drop-down filters on the Filter menu.
You can filter by:
- Profession: Select an individual profession from the drop-down.
The filters below are dynamic, meaning that they only show relevant options for the chosen profession.- Modality: Select individual or multiple modalities for specific professions from the drop-down.
- Mode of study: In total, there are six modes of study. By default, all modes of study are included when you select a profession.
- Model of learning: In total, there are six learning models. By default, all models of learning are included when you select a profession.

Within the visuals you can highlight individual education provider or location data by clicking on the relevant bar chart item (click again to unselect).
In the example below, clicking on the location 'England - London' will mean only data from education providers in this area will be shown.

To zoom in on a partular table/graph, click on the 'Focus mode' icon on the top right of the visual.

- Registrants: Individuals who were actively registered with us at the time of analysis, meeting the required standards for their profession.
- Pass list: Pass lists are used in our UK approved programme application process. Education providers submit pass lists to confirm details of those who have complete their programme, we then cross reference this information to progress their application.
- Professions: The 15 health and care professions regulated by us, each with protected titles that are legally restricted to those on the HCPC Register.
- Model of learning: The six models of learning available are: Apprenticeship, Employer-led, Other, Portfolio, Taught, and Test. These models of learning are defined for each programme by education providers through engagement with our approval and monitoring assessments.
- Mode of study: The six modes of study available on our list of approved programmes are: Distance learning, Flexible, Full time, Full time accelerated, Part time, Work based learning. These modes of study are defined for each programme by education providers through engagement with our approval and monitoring assessments.
- Registration route: The 'Registration route' defines the pathways for individuals to join our Register, encompassing options like completing a UK-approved education program or utilizing international routes. For this analysis, only the UK route was considered.
- Registrants: Individuals who were actively registered with us at the time of analysis, meeting the required standards for their profession.
