The HCPC collects data relating to its Fitness to Practise (FTP) processes at different stages to highlight areas of risk, spot trends and inform stakeholders to support wider decision making in the sector.
Further analyses of our data are included in the following downloadable reports.
- Report 1 provides supplementary insight into FTP concerns reported to the HCPC in 2024/25, building on headline figures in our annual report to explore variation across professions, registration routes, protected characteristics and types of concerns raised.
- Report 2 provides supplementary analysis of decisions made during the FTP process in 2024-25, it builds on the information provided in our regular FTP Annual report.
- Report 3 follows a cohort of FTP concerns that met the triage stage in 2023–24, tracking how they progressed through subsequent stages of the process. This approach allows for a clearer understanding of decision-making over time, particularly at the threshold stage.
