We support this. We also want to share our appreciation for all those on our temporary registers who joined the NHS across the four nations to fight against the virus.

As a UK wide regulator, many of the professions we regulate including paramedics, biomedical scientists, occupational therapists, radiographers, physiotherapists, operating department practitioners, clinical scientists, practitioner psychologists and more continue to be essential in the testing, treating and rehabilitation of coronavirus patients. We are thankful to everyone who has stepped forward during these challenging times.

We are working with the sector to explore how can best support those who wish to return to professional registration with the HCPC when the temporary registration arrangements come to an end. We will be sharing more detailed information about this over the coming weeks.

In celebration of #NHSBirthday on Sunday 5 July, we will also be participating in the NHS country-wide clap to say #ThankYouTogether. Find out more about how to get involved with the NHS Birthday
