Name of registrant: Miss Stephanie M Milligan

Profession: Social worker

Hearing date: Monday 8 April 2019 – Friday 12 April 2019

Miss Milligan is alleged to have her fitness to practice impaired by reason of misconduct from dishonest behaviour. She allegedly emotionally abused and/or neglected a child between approximately September 2012 and September 2016. She allegedly failed to inform her line manager or Blackpool Council of the on-going care proceedings in respect of the child until September 2016. Read more

Mr Mason is alleged to have his fitness to practice impaired by reason of misconduct and/or lack of competence following dishonest behaviour. Whilst employed by The Children's Society between November 2016 and April 2017, the allegations include falsely recording appointments which did not take place, failing to carry out risk assessments in respect of eight service users, and authorising closure of two cases prior to obtaining management oversight. Mr Gardiner is alleged to have his fitness to practice impaired by reason of misconduct following dishonest behaviour. Mr Gardiner allegedly completed a readmission application in June 2017 without declaring that he had a civil proceedings brought against him and/or his companies by the High Court in November 2016. Mrs Harrison is alleged to have her fitness to practice impaired by reason of misconduct and/or lack of competence. Whilst employed with Staffordshire County Council, she allegedly failed to provide sufficient support for a service user and, regarding nine children, allegedly failed to undertake necessary processes in regards to their care. Mrs Waldron is alleged to have her fitness to practice impaired by reason of misconduct and/or lack of competence. Whilst working with The Adolescent and Children’s Trust, she allegedly had an unauthorised member of the public with her while at a service user’s home, and misled the service user by saying that person was also a social worker. Mrs Waldron also allegedly failed to attend three pre-arranged service user visits between January and March 2017. Read more

Miss Hall is alleged to have her fitness to practice impaired by reason of misconduct. Miss Hall allegedly consumed alcohol at work on two days in November 2017 whilst employed in the capacity of Chief Biomedical Scientist by Wirral Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Read more
