How we ensure programmes continue to meet our standards
Every year we consider programmes to ensure they continue to meet our standards. We split education providers into two groups: one group is audited whilst the other needs to submit a declaration.

Outcomes of the process
Through the process, we will decide that either:
- there is enough evidence that the programme continues to meet our standards; or
- there is not enough evidence that the programme continues to meet our standards and that an approval visit is required to consider ongoing approval of the programme.
Your submission date will usually be just after your own internal annual monitoring process. You must complete the relevant form and submit it to us, along with the requested documentation, by the deadline stated in our initial correspondence to you.
You are required to submit an electronic copy of your documents by the deadline stated in the initial correspondence from us.
Programmes visited by us in the previous academic year, or which are currently going through the approval process, will not normally be subject to annual monitoring in the following year.
