Department: HR - Partners

Salary: Please see role brief for further information

We are seeking Hearing Aid Dispensers and Arts Therapists (Drama) to undertake the role of visitor for the Health and Care Professions.

Why are HCPC seeking Hearing Aid Dispensers and Arts Therapists (Drama) to become visitors?

Tracey Samuel-Smith, HCPC Education Manager explains ‘Visitors are responsible for visiting and assessing existing and proposed education and training programmes delivered by education providers.

Visitors make a real difference to the work we do.  There is the opportunity to get involved and help to safeguard people using our registrant’s services by ensuring education and training programmes meet our standards. Visitors also provide recommendations to the HCPC’s Education & Training Committee regarding the approval or on-going approval of programmes.

Visitors undertake up to five days work a year. A visit normally takes two days and there are monitoring responsibilities.

You must be registered with the HCPC and meet the criteria set out in the role brief.

We pay a service fee of £198 for external events such as visits and annual monitoring days, as well as travel and accommodation expenses in accordance with the HCPC Partner Expense Policy.

You can find more detailed information on our website.

The HCPC is committed to equality of opportunity and actively guards against unfair discrimination on any grounds (including sexual orientation, religion or beliefs, race, sex, age or disability).
