Memorandum of Understanding

On Wednesday 25 May 2016 the Health and Care Professional Council (HCPC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the States of Jersey’s Health and Social Services Department.

The MOU aims to enhance cooperation and coordination between the two to ensure that service users continue to be protected by the effective and proportionate regulation of registered practitioners. The MoU does this largely through outlining how we will share information relating to allegations concerning fitness to practise, convictions for criminal offences, or any determination by either organisation or other regulatory body against a registered practitioner who resides or practises in Jersey.
