Report of the Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust Public Inquiry

Start: 09/05/2013 - 14:30

End: 09/05/2013 - 16:30

Room J and K, HCPC offices

This is a discussion event

In his report, Robert Francis QC has made 290 recommendations and called for far reaching changes in the system at all levels. As the regulator for health and care professionals in the UK we are reviewing the report and its findings in detail.  We are particularly looking at our responsibilities as a professional regulator, what more we can contribute, what needs to change in our processes and how we work with other organisations. The event aims to address these issues and look at what more we can do to ensure we continue to be a robust and efficient regulator in times of fundamental change.

The event will take place on Thursday 9 May 2013 at 14.30pm in rooms J and K at the HCPC. There will be a presentation followed by a workshop. The event will close by 16.30pm

This event is aimed at those working for professional bodies, regulation or with an interest in public health.

Places are limited so please email events@hcpc-uk.org  or call 020 7840 9806 to book your place
