Registration assessors
Registration assessors are registered members of the professions that we regulate. They assess applications from health professionals who have trained abroad or those who have taken courses that aren’t HCPC approved.
The registration assessors look at the application for registration, and make a decision about whether the applicant meets our standards. Based on the evidence in the application, they then decide whether to recommend that the person be registered.
Registration assessors spend approximately 5 to 10 working days per year working on applications. This varies dependent on the profession and the number of applications received.
